Downtown Powell 3rd Friday Chocolate Walk Business Registration

2024 will bring new and exciting Parks and Recreation programs to the City of Powell. We would love to collaborate with you in a variety of ways, including hosting community outreach events in your facilities that highlight your organization, giving you the opportunity to create meaningful interactions with the residents of Powell and surrounding areas.

One of our first outreach events is the 3^rd Friday Chocolate Walk. The Parks and Recreation Department will provide you with delicious chocolate treats (from our local bakeries and restaurants), that you can pass out from 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Friday, February 16th. Our target audience is adults who enjoy visiting downtown Powell for food, drinks and shopping. We currently have the following opportunities available for your business to participate in this popular event:

• 1.       Your business will be designated as a Chocolate Walk Participant. We will provide you with 100 treats to pass out on Friday, February 16^th starting at 6:30pm until 9:00pm, or until all treats are claimed. You will receive a Chocolate Walk Participant yard sign to display up to one week prior to the event. We will highlight your location on the Chocolate Walk map, and provide links to your social medial platforms in the Facebook event. If you would like to offer your own treat, or supplement those provided by the City, please let us know.
• 2.       Your business can highlight a “Chocolate Walk Special” featuring food, beverages, sale items, coupons or other offerings the night of the Chocolate Walk. Some specials may include chocolate themed drinks, desserts, a % off selected items or services, or coupons that can be used at a later date to drive business back to your establishment. Your business will receive a Chocolate Walk Participant yard sign, links to your social media pages in the event page with details of your “special”, and a listing on the Chocolate Walk participant map.

We are also facilitating the March 3^rd Friday “St. Patrick’s Day Pot of Gold” event, and look forward to partnering with you on Friday, March 15^th.
