The Powell Development Corporation has partnered with the Delaware County Entrepreneurial Center at Ohio Wesleyan University to provide resources and guidance to our entrepreneurs.

Together, we host an every other month Powell business pitch called the Entrepreneur Meetup.

The Delaware Entrepreneurial Center at Ohio Wesleyan University (DEC OWU) is a unique collaboration with the City of Powell, Delaware County and the City of Delaware, acting as a business incubator, accelerator, and educational hub to foster innovation and new ventures in Central Ohio, connecting local startups with student talent for real-world experience and offering resources like office space, mentorship, and programs to develop entrepreneurial skills. It provides hands-on learning for OWU students while helping local businesses grow by offering assistance in areas like market research, accounting, and marketing.

• Student-Powered Support: Connects startups with OWU student interns for practical assistance, offering students invaluable experience.
